2. EVERYTHING ABOUT ORDERS + DELIVERY

How can I order from you?
Call our number (02853) 956 9015, send us a fax under (02853) 956 90 99 or an e-mail (Please find details under Inquiries and orders)

When will the container be delivered?
As a rule, we deliver the container on the following working day after ordering (Mo.-Fr.) and we collect it again on the day following your phone call. In the event of fixed delivery dates they have to be agreed with our scheduling department. Therefore the lead time should ideally be one or two days.

How long can the container remain in its position?
Try not to leave the container for an unnecessarily long time in order to avoid filling by unauthorized persons. We do not charge stand or container rental for the first two weeks.

When will the container be collected?
The container will only be collected after your confirmation. If you inform us that the container can be collected on working days until 13.00 hours, as a rule, we collected it again on the day following your phone call, otherwise one day later.  Please also ensure that we can collect the container without restrictions and that it is not e.g. blocked by other vehicles.  In the event that the collection was unsuccessfull because we did not have access to the container, the unnecessary travel will be invoiced.

Can I inform the driver when the container is to be collected?
Yes, of course. It would, however, be highly preferable that you additionally phone us and let us know. In such a case we can already inform you when the container can be collected.

3. EVERYTHING ABOUT THE CONTAINER SITE

Where can and am I allowed to place the container?
We can  place the container on you private property (e.g. garage entrance). In the event that you have no space and the container has to be placed on the public domain (sidewalk, parking bay, street etc.) it is essential that you obtain an authorisation from your city authorities.

Special Use:
For setting up containers on public roads, places and sidewalks a special use permit granted by your city authorities is required, even if the container is set up only for 24 hours.

You have to obtain this permit in good time from your city authorities, you may apply for it using the following contact data:

Legal Duty to Ensure Public Safety:
In the event that containers are placed on public sidewalks, roads and places you will of course receive  information as to the required safety measures by the abovementioned entities. Please note that you are legally responsible to ensure public safety. We are, however, not able to provide countdown markers, lamps or barrier tape.

Liability:
Due to the fact that you determine the container site, please keep in mind that we do not assume any liability for damage caused by driving on insufficient ground load capacity of yard surfaces, entrances, private roads etc. and by depositing and picking up containers.

How much is the fee for the special use of public areas?
Unfortunately we cannot comprehensively answer to this question, as each city has its own administration fee model.

An administration fee for the permit can be charged, it is calculated on the basis of the administrative expenses related to granting the special use permit.  In addition and as a rule, a fee for the special use of the public areas is payable, the amount is mostly calculated on the basis of the importance of the street, the area occupied and the standing of the special use.

Can a container be transported through narrow entrance ways/access roads?
In the event that your entrance ways/access  roads are narrow, please measure them and provide us with the dimensions.

How much space is required for a truck?
Where vehicles such as garbage-collecting trucks drive, we have also access. Also for our skip containers and roll-off containers applies: the container is always placed behind the vehicle. This means that in front of the container site there must be space for the vehicle (for skip containers at least 9 meters length, for roll-off containers at least 12 m length and 2,8 m width).

Can several containers be set up (for waste separation)?
Of course.

Where is you catchment area, where/how far do you drive?
In the entire Ruhr area. Our catchment areas are the Ruhr area and the Lower Rhine.

4. EVERYTHING ABOUT CONTAINER FILLING

What may be filled in the container – what has to be separately disposed of?
Generally speaking, rubble is always to be disposed of or recycled separately and if possible free of contamination. In most cases it is more cost-efficient when waste is separated on site, e.g. wood, rubble, mixed construction waste.

What must NOT be filled into the container?
The content of containers must not be mixed with special waste (or technically correctly: hazardous waste). This includes e.g. paints, varnishes, spray cans, car batteries, capacitors, fluorescent tubes, contaminated soils, insulation wool, glass padding, rock wool, construction materials containing asbestos, refrigerators and many other materials. These waste materials have to be disposed of separately – please contact us directly for detailed information. We do not dispose of foodstuff and perishable goods.

Is it allowed to overloaded the container?
The container may only be loaded up to the loading edge. We intend to and must transport any cargo in a proper and secured way. This will nevertheless only be possible if the containers are not overloaded.

What can I do against undesired fillers?
Always fill the containers as soon as possible and inform us (see above under 2.) as soon as you have finished loading.  Then we can handle the collection. When you have the possibility to place the container on your private property, unwanted filling can be nearly excluded. In some places you are recommended to set up site fences or to cover the containers with tarpaulins.  We also provide containers with lids, please contact our dispatcher. He will be pleased to advise you under (02853) 956 9015.

How is hazardous waste (artificial mineral fibres, e. g. glass wool or rock wool (KMF), asbestos, paints, etc.) to be disposed of?
There is a waste catalogue indicating numerous so-called dangerous wasts.  We will gladly advise you by telephone. Frequently observed are:  mineral wool, rock wool (laminated or unlaminated). KMF have to be packed and disposed of in so-called KMF-bags (diameter 1.2 m, length 2,5m = volume of  2m³).

A similar procedure is to be observed for construction materials containing asbestos. For this purpose two sorts of so-called big-bags are available. One for panels (260 x 125 x 30 cm), e.g. corrugated Eternit panels and a smaller one for facade claddings and/or fragments (90 x 90 x 110 cm).

Companies have to give evidence of expertise to be granted permission for dismantling (we also have this expertise).

Can the driver wait until the container is loaded?
Sometimes exceptional construction sites also require exceptional measures. In the event that you want the driver to wait, this is to be agreed with our scheduling department. Please ensure that the container is filled ASAP, this is possible if a sufficient number of workers is available on site. In the event that you just ask the driver, as a rule, he will not be able to wait, he must adhere to his deadlines.

5. EVERYTHING ABOUT PRICES, INVOICING, PAYMENT

What are the overall costs of a container?
As a general rule, the price depends on the real content and volume. Moreover, we mostly offer total prices including travelling to and from the site plus disposal and recycling costs.
As a rule, disposal of roll-off containers is calculated on the basis of transport costs and disposal and/or recycling based on each shipping ton.
For disposal of rubble a fixed price for transport costs, disposal and/or recycling is calculated.

How much does the container cost per day?
For containers standstill periods of more than two weeks we charge:
For skip containers: 18,00 € per week; 4,00 € per day
For skip containers: 26,00 € per week; 6,00 € per day

Is unmixed filling less expensive?
Certainly. In the event that e.g. wood can be separated, this is less expensive than filling it into the container with mixed construction site waste. Rubble is generally recycled and in any way cost-efficient if it can be disposed of without contamination with e.g. wallpaper scraps, cable scraps and wood residues.

How and when do I pay the invoice?
After invoicing and in accordance with the date of payment. We reserve the right to collect the price directly on site.
