FLORA AND FAUNA GARTROPER BUSCH

In the Gartroper Busch  a large number of fauna and flora species are indigenous species. Nottenkämper has set itself the objective to influence their habitat as little as possible. The native tree-species, among these beeches, oaks and other native deciduous tree species, are reintroduced after sealant works and recultivation to preserve and even improve the landscape biodiversity. Not least this becomes also evident within the last 3 years because eagle owls were sighted.   Other species such as roe deer, wild boars, red deer and various birds of prey (e.g. buzzard and hawk) are given a home by the Gartroper Busch.
